Becoming a member of the Cross County Chamber of Commerce is not simply a sticker to put in your window or an invitation to the annual banquet. There are many tools and resources available to you on a daily basis designed to promote your business and foster community involvement.
All members are listed in our online directory, which features a variety of local businesses across many industries.
Members have the option of hosting a Business After Hours event, which is a great opportunity for you to publicize your business. This social hour allows you to open your doors and showcase your offerings to other Chamber members and the community.
New members should be sure to schedule a ribbon cutting ceremony at your place of business to maximize publicity of your opening. Chamber representatives will attend, and your photo opportunity will be sent to local newspapers, such as the *Wynne Progress* and *East Arkansas News-Leader*, for publication. In addition, your ribbon cutting will be featured on our website for the remainder of the year in which you open.
To show our support of Chamber members, each year, we present membership plaques to display in their businesses. If new members choose to forgo hosting a ribbon cutting, we encourage them to have a photograph taken with Chamber reps presenting the plaque to take advantage of additional publicity. The photo may then be submitted to local newspapers and/or placed on your business's Facebook feed.
