Resort at Village Creek
The Resort at Village Creek is a unique golf resort coming soon in Cross County. The resort will feature a 27 hole Andy Dye designed golf course, first-class lodging, day spa, and a restaurant and conference center. The lodging facilities will be a member of the exclusive Preferred Hotel Group while the golf course will be a member of The Natural State Golf Trail.
The property is located in the northwest corner of Village Creek State Park on Crowley's Ridge just to the southeast of Wynne. The project is a public-private partnership that is being developed by PlaYces Development and golf course construction services are by world renowned Oliphant Golf, Inc. The first 18 holes of golf are scheduled to open in July, 2008 with the resort facilities opening in 2009. The golf course will be available for resort guests and the general public.
