Cross County, Arkansas is located just 45 minutes west of Downtown Memphis, TN; only 90 minutes from Little Rock, AR; and just 40 minutes from Jonesboro, AR. Congratulations to annual award winners

The Cross County Chamber of Commerce's Annual Banquet was a success on Jan. 26, with more than 300 attendees. The keynote speaker for the evening was Dr. Dean Lee, Director of Athletics for Arkansas State University.

 

Special congratulations to the following award winners, recognized during the banquet:

- James "Bud" Green: Cross County Citizen of the Year;

- Dr. Neall & Dr. Becca Jackson: Cross County Volunteers of the Year;

- CrossRidge Community Hospital: Cross County Business of the Year;

- Cross County Special Work Shop: Cross County Organization of the Year;

- Three Boeckmann Farm II: Cross County Farm Family of the Year. 

 

  Regions Bank wins fourth straight "Paint the Town"

For the fourth consecutive year, Regions Bank was the winner of the Wynne "Paint the Town" spirit contest held this year on Friday, Oct. 7.

Crestpark Retirement Inn placed second and the First National Bank of Wynne took third.

Congrats to FNB of Cherry Valley!!!

The First National Bank of Wynne's Cherry Valley branch was the winner of the 2011 "Paint the Town" contest for the Cross County School District. The bank was presented with an award plaque on Sept. 23. This year's second place winner was the Cross County Special Work Shop. Puryear-Jackson Family Dentistry was the third place winner.

 

Cross County participates in Welcome to Arkansas program

Twenty-eight representatives from 13 different area businesses recently participated in the "Welcome to Arkansas" customer service/hospitality training held at the Technology Center for the Delta in Wynne. This effort, a joint partnership between the Arkansas Hospitality Association and Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism, will enable our area businesses to have the best customer service abilities and techniques to better serve their clients.
